Keystone7 is a web directory built on the principles of a good print shop. Every section of the catalog has a name, a character, and a clearly defined scope. Entries are grouped by trade and set in order — not scattered into a single undifferentiated heap. The register currently holds 859 listings across 22 sections, and new submissions are reviewed before they are set into type.
The name Keystone7 refers to the central stone that holds an arch together. In the press room, the keystone is also the point at which the forme is locked and made ready for the impression. This directory works on the same idea: it acts as the locked and ordered point of reference from which a search can properly begin.
Submitting a listing is straightforward. Fill in the form on the add page, choose the section that fits your operation, and provide a working URL and a short description. The entry is reviewed for relevance before it is approved and set into the appropriate column. There is no charge for a basic listing.
Browsing works best if you already know which trade section you need. Navigate to the relevant column, run down the entries, and follow the link that looks right. If you are less certain of the category, the main page groups the 22 sections with short descriptions to help you orient yourself.
Keystone7 does not offer placement services, sponsored positions, or priority listings. Every entry in the catalog was submitted through the same open form and reviewed on the same terms. The register is alphabetical within each section; the type is set even and the impression is consistent.
